Passionate About Finding Investment Solutions

Rob has been working in the investment field for over 25 years. Experience has taught him that individual investors don't always get the best advice and he is passionate about bringing optimal solutions to each client.

For the last twelve years Rob has been a consultant to leading pension plans and asset management firms developing and managing investment strategies, building asset allocation models and leading product development.

Previously, Rob was a Senior Investment Strategist with Northern Trust Global Investments, where he was responsible for providing leading edge research on quantitative investment management across both equities and fixed income, spanning index, active and smart beta strategies.

Prior to joining Northern Trust, Rob was Head of International Equity Strategy and Emerging Market Equity Management at Barclays Global Investors (BGI) where he developed and managed the group’s emerging market equity capabilities. Before joining BGI, he was a Portfolio Manager at Emerging Markets Management responsible for quantitative asset allocation and a Market Analyst at the International Finance Corporation/World Bank, where he researched and analyzed emerging market equities, and helped develop the IFC Emerging Market Indexes.

He has contributed chapters and articles to numerous books and financial publications as well as being widely quoted in the press, including CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, Barrons, and Bloomberg. Rob lives with his wife and daughters in Marin County and enjoys biking, vintage cars and is a voracious reader and film buff.
